We have just started in here going after Champion for the key on friday. Any strats handy??

Have only one person (Sks are good) solo the grunt (don't let him use his group lifetaps, nobody casts on him, no bard songs...)

Offtank the Champ, burn the goat (one of them fluxes, I think it's Champ but I could be wrong it's been a while)

Then burn the Champ.
 
something u can do if you're quick is pull the champ before the goat roams to middle and u can have him solo till about 20% life then the goat will be like wtf quit killing my friend and come beat u. by that point we usually had a ranger ws get some aggro and kite the overinflated msha.

A good bard or monk can single pull the champ. Keep your DPS on the champ and don't agro the goat. DPS him down to 20%, 30%? I forget. Somewhere around there and the goat will activate and charge the raid.

Instead of kiting, if a guild is new to txevu, you can have the ranger pull the goat AS SOON as it charges (and be sole agro..) The ranger can then take it to the opposite corner of the raid and die. The goat will reset and the raid can finish the Mast Champ.

Spend a few minutes rezing/meding if you need (not too long or the event will reset) and then kill the goat. Loot your key, on to the Priest. Makes the encounter simple.

Read the title, jeez, these are strats for Texvu, not Txevu! (I'm kidding) Anyways... someone fix that! :)
 
General Info

All named mobs in tacvi are slowable and debuffable before you engage as they are perma rooted. Only exception to this is tunat muram fake version, who summons at 100% if you debuff him

Tank all adds in a corner, these hit harder than the named in the zone, so make sure healing is spot on.

Set ramp on all mobs properly, i.e dont let a chanter pull a trash mob and get on ramp.. or they will go splat.

Remains - dont open these if you ever want to finish the reserachers symbol. once you are capable of killing whole of tacvi.. sort out who is going to loot all the remains at the start of the raid. there is one remains per corridor, so you will have to clear every trash mob.

Crusher = Flurry (1700dps mobs!!)
Berzerker = AE rampage
Destroyer = Single target ramp

Brief Named Info

Xxeric - Rooted till 95% (doors lock) then cornerable. adds spawn at 50% (they respawn 3 times each in total if you kill them. one is mezzable, one is rootable other needs killed before back onto xxeric.. cant remember names). has an ae that you can watch via emotes. at 10% xxeric mends to 40% and starts raping people (dps goes up lots). Best Strat for this is to figure out which mob is root/snareable and keep it parked, mezz the mezzable one.. and kill the other 3 times. After doing that get back onto Xxeric. Has a nasty ae, so will need pallies per group for healing etc. Must re-slow and debuff after mend, mob DPS goes way up.

Snakes

Pixtt Riel Tavas - (south snake) 2 adds at start. throw something at the snake.. adds will chase you, kill them, ae ramp. go in and kill. perma rooted. at 30% all melee need to duck and move to a corner (except MT). the adds that spawn have little hp and explode, so all DS off. these need mezzed asap. burn riel via casters/ranged from 30 to 0. If a bomb gets killed does an approx 4k ae dd. Once snake dies, run out of room and back to xxeric room. proceed in killing the bombs. Make sure you put a cleric at zone for this part, just in case people start dieing.

Pixtt Kretv Krakxt - (north snake) move raid into room and into corner immediately left. set a MA. tank and kill snake till she FDs and lots of adds spawn. assist MA and kill these. dont worry bout the snakes going round the sides. as long as all in one corner the number of aes will be minimal. rinse repeat till dead. Adds are mezzble. Mobs pathing round the sides cant be kileld.. the just AE when they get to a corner. Each time Krakxt FDs .. more of these circling adds pop, so more aes. cure the aa as best you can, RC 6 cures.

South Zuns!!

Zun`Muram Yihst Vor - simple fight. straight melee. at 30% begins to ae ramp. can be avoided by staying max melee.

Zun`Muram Kvxe Pirik - (aka balancer) kill zun, til he goes innactive. then DPS the Balances (the 4 mobs in corners) to the same % which zun is at. need to do this consectutily at 90,80,70,60,50,40 and 30%. if you dont manage to balance all 4 mobs, his power increases. 3% below zun hp % is max or he wont be balnced. This fight is long. You should be able to without issue hit the first 4 or 5 balances. Then depending on your dps whether you hit the rest. CH chain tank on main mob, if starts getting bad. Fast heal. This fight is long.. and boring, but just keep at it, reap the rewards.

North Zuns!!

Zun`Muram Shaldln Boc - easiest mob in tacvi. kill it, its simple. Charms people at random for a set duration.. laugh at these people and if you dont like them, dot/nuke/melee them .. claim you were saving the cleric.

Zun`Muram Mordl Delt - (aka pac man) kill him he will FD, and 2 adds will spawn. offtank and kill these adds. once these are down, 3 will spawn (main zuns hp goes down) same again. off tank and kill these one by one. once these are down, 4 will spawn. KITE THESE. assign pallies and SKs to tag and keep agro and run around in circles. if you get agro.. run!! after around 3 or 4 mins. they depop and zun stands up again at full hp. kill him to 30% where 2 more adds will spawn. again kite these and burn zun. kill the 2 adds after.


Fake Tunat

Tunat is a fight in 2 stages. First is the fake tunat. He is standing next to all his mob friends.

Once set up, engage tunat.. just all run at him and start beating him down. Get him debuffed fast. assign 2 enchanters to watch teh mobs around him. If they agro, mem blur them. Once they agro, they start to heal tunat. you dont want that.

this is a straight dps mob, just beat him down.

At 30% he spawns a coupld of adds. all DPS off tunat and kill these adds, once all are dead, get back onto killing him.

once dead, he disapears, as do his adds.. and he reapears behind where he was. move off the platform and to the left of it and prepare for the real tunat.

Real Tunat

This is the big bad boss mob of tacvi. At first this encounter is not easy (first 3 fights in anguish are easier), but once you get it down... you wonder how you ever wiped on it.

Set up - create 2 kite groups (this is a just in case measure). In one of the groups, have 2 paladins, 2 rangers, a druid and a shaman. in the other have your enchanters, a cleric and a plate tank.

Debuff tunat, make sure he is slowed. Once debuffed, start your heal chain on the tank and send him in.

DPS tunat to 91% hp and STOP! all dps off except MT and run to clerics. Adds are going to pop on the clerics that must be killed. At around 91-90% tunat will change into xxeric. keep tanking him and kill the adds.

once all adds are dead, DPS tunat. now, the fast you take him down, the easier he is.

burn him down. melee need to disc at 80% (to stop the nasty adds popping, if they do, kite using kite groups) and at 30% (delt ... you dont want delt adds.. its the pacman adds!!).

at around 20% delt will turn back into tunat.. and from then on his DPS increases, all healers need to patch the tank and keep him up while the dps does its job.

This fight is a simple dps, control the adds and keep the tank alive fight. But it does take practoce on timing (the 91% etc) so dont kick yourself if you dont kill it first time.

Real tunat will change shape into every mob that you previosuly saw in tacvi, so dont be alarmed when he cahnges shape.. you dont lose targetring, so just keep doing the business.
 
Txevu - Mobs

Aneuks

These are the easy mobs of Txevu. The only difficulty is clearing to them. Expect to lose SA quite a bit on the clears from the snakes dying.

The North Aneuk charms, we will have pay attention to tank switches from the charm. The South Aneuk has a dot so ae heals will be important and cures.

Ixts

These mobs are easy as well. They have a single target trample. It is a Bidg DD and short stun so tank may lose aggro while stunned.

Ancient Cragbeast Matriarch

Raid will wait outside the door. A rogue will target the Left Mastrung for the the paladin to BDA aggro and target the right one for the main tank to offtank.

A Cleric will BDA a paladin who will run in and pull the 2 Mastrungs to the bottom right corner. The main tank will pick up the right mastrung and the raid will proceed to kill it. The second assist will offtank the left mastrung.

An enchanter will blur the Ancient Cragbeast Matriach. This will prevent the babies from spawning which spawn while the Mastrungs are up.

Once the Mastrungs are dead, the raid will go on the right stage and not aggro the ACM. Once on the right stage, the raid will begin to DPS the 3 mobs there to 10%. All DPS off at 20%. There will be no dots.

Once the 3 right stage mobs are at 10%, the raid will range dps the 3 mobs on the left stage to 10%. All DPS off at 20%. Again No dots.

Once all of the mobs are at 10%, we will kill the left stage mobs and then the right stage mobs. This will make the ACM killable. Once all of the mobs are dead, a paladin will da in to set up ramp and then the MT, this will be an all out burn so everyone should disc early.
