Got this information from a friend over on another server.

Overlord Mata Muram

Step by step:

1) Clear Anguish, including all of Ture's areas and room.

2) Port up and set up in Cubby, Kill AMV fake or real depending which one's up.

3) Activate OMM by making a monk/bard agroing and FD/FM.

4) Position your clerics close to OMM's platform, your whole raid behind them, and any backup rezzers at cubby.

5) Get a ranger and paladin to pull Coerced Liutenants. Snare them. Make a shammy Malo them. Get your 2 enchanters and charm them. Buff them with haste, Lion's Strenght (druid buff), etc.

6) Start CH rotation. Run your RT (WITH SHIELD) then MT (WITH DEFENSIVE and SHIELD) as always. Start fight. Do not waste Fortitude here.

7) IMPORTANT: Make your 10 mask clickers get in agro list by hitting from range distance OMM once. (get 12 mask clickers on agro list in case some die).

8) Make your enchanters assist with pets, make sure they know how to control them to avoid any pushing.

9) When "you hear a hissing sound" or whatever the add emotes are, make sure your SK's, Warriors or paladins do any type of AE agro to get them asap. Make your whole force DPS assist them, and take them down FAST.

10) When emote comes, make sure person that gets clicks it. THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR MISSING AN EMOTE, aside from an unlucky STUN or uncured SILENCE. IF and only IF that person fails due to those 2 circumstances, make sure they have a hotkey that says: "FORTITUDE - MISSED CLICK!!!". Warriors must then assume Fortitude so that you do not wipe.

11) A - on a successful click, OMM will become inactive and memblur himself.

B- on an unsuccessful mask click, get ready to click again on 60 seconds after the failed one. Yes, you get a 30 second penalty for not clicking, so make sure your mask clickers dont click every emote, cause if they are their mask wont be ready for this.

12) After OMM becomes inactive you can switch tank if the current tank has defensive down. Usually it fades after 3 inactives.

13) Once again make sure rampage tank gets agro first to establish proper rampage... continue.

14) When OMM hits 70% he will cast MoD (Mark of death) on you!! This only happens ONCE in the entire fight. Cure up, use shields, potions whatever and cure it. And yes, if he regens back and you take him back down to 70 he will cast it.

15) When OMM hits 30%, a mini event will unfold and Riftseekers will pop in his room - THEY ARE NON AGRO. Once this happens sic your WHOLE DPS on OMM with discs and everything. If there are any adds, AT ALL.. KILL THEM ASAP before port down.

Make sure if there are any people corpses - pull them to the wall/cubby.

Eventually you will be ported down to Ture's Room (which is why i said clear it first... if you have been too long up in OMM's room then stuff may have pop - 2 hour repop remember).

16) pull any corpses with /target person's corpse through the wall. DO NOT CLICK IN OR YOU WILL MAKE THE SCRIPT ACTIVATE AGAIN. Simply rez, rebuff, med up.

17) When you're ready - CLICK INTO HIS ROOM. Tanks first, then healers and whatever. ASAP Charm Liutenants. Start shit again. Emote will come fast this time so be ready.

18) Kill and win. Takes aproximately 3-6 clicks depending on what percent you took him down before port down.


Things you should know:

1) Mask clickers need to have MASK, and need to be on AGRO LIST every time he memblurs. Any less than 10 people in zone with these 2 conditions and OMM will pick a random target regardless if has mask or not and screw you hard.

2) If you dont kill adds before port down, you will be met with some serious shit, so do this.

3) Communication is vital. Make sure everyone communicates, especially mask clickers.

4) All clerics, all druids, all shamans have cures loaded up. YOU NEED Quickened Curing 3 and Resplendant Cure 3 for this fight, get it done. Set up cures in your groups as needed.

Torment (fizzle dot) = RGC cure / RC6 (resplendant cure 3)- Healers should cure this with RC6 and set up a rot for it in groups.

Suppression (silence) = Nadox / PB cure - Not so frequent but devastating.

Rest of the shit: Pretty much PB/Nadox and RC6

5) Ramp is tricky. OMM has a small range of AE rampage additional to his single ramp. If your RT is too close he will get fucked up fast, but there's a dilemma... you want a warrior there in case your main tank dies, and he needs to be as close as possible. So what you can do is make your RT go in and out.

6) Casters and healers, please don't sit especially if Adds are coming or are UP. You will get plowed.

7) Most clerics will be on a CH rotation (6 cleric or 5). Rest patching. Assign 2 Druids for MT, 2 Druids for RT, 1 Druid for enchanter group, 1 Druid for Add Tanks.

Warriors:

The worst news is, you're gonna need 3-4 warriors 14k unbuffed geared with decent avoidance and shielding. Relay this to your warriors, make sure they know so they can start equipping accordingly...

Important to watch shielding and avoidance mods.
It's very important to have 2.0s and AMV or Tacvi Shields.


Healers:

Your healers need to be able to duck, and cast cure on the fly. Skip messages on CH rotations work. We do CH rotation on OMM, clerics that need to skip to cure do so with a hotkey. You need absolutely all curing options. RC6, RGC, Pureblood, anything.

Clerics make sure can Div Arb or Epic if necesary. Druids need to do some smart healing... Silvan Infusion and Chlorotrope... alternate them.

Healers get your healing and curing AAs. Get Gift of Mana 3, (don't get Abundant healing yet since its bugged).



pretty much all the rest of the classes are straightforward, except maybe for Enchanters. They need to be able to keep a mob charmed, and expect any break and act fast.

Ive never understood why guilds prefer to surround him rather than to just corner him at the cubby. We pull to corner seems to work worlds beter.

So gimped :p We make everyone in ther raid use masks except Warriors + clerics.

See, More the reason to not do on platform rather than in cubby.

Just a side note on this. Clerics in CH rotation dont need to worry about curring them. CH isnt effected by the fizzle dot.

In the 50 + times ive did OMM ive never once noticed he has any AE ramp to him. So I dont feel that information is correct (prove me wrong tho please). Safest way to go for rampage is a Paladin with DA Hammer + 2 healers (clerics prefered) in group with him for divine arbs if DA lands at low hp.

I am assuming hissing sound is an emote? that means adds are spawned?

And then 10, refers to another emote when you need to click the mask?
 
Hissing is the ukuns. Gaze emote is when you need to use the mask yeah.

Still haven't beaten this guy...Gave up on trying ><

what exactly does his gaze do? and why is it sp important to use mask?
 
it increases how fast and hart he hits...Can throw him way up each missed click...it's a killer...MT can't take quads for 7.7k nonstop without healers running OOM...4k-5k hits is reasonable. He starts with like 3k hits on a 3kac or so tank i'd say.
 
decided i will post my omm strat!

Raid Setup

Chain: cleric, cleric, cleric, cleric, mage, shaman
Tanks: warrior, cleric, bard, cleric, warrior, warrior
RT: cleric, mage, druid, paladin, cleric, shaman
Charm: chanter, paladin, bard, ranger, druid, chanter
Adds: rest of raid

Audio Triggers

Gaze of Deadly Power - this is the emote that tells you when you need to click the mask
Buzzing Around Your Head - This is the emote when omm's adds are about to pop on your position, you should run to the adds team on this emote.
Marked for Death - this is the AM DT curse and needs cured by a disease cure, happens at 75%
Air stops moving around you - this is the omm silence, this means you cant click mask, curse cures

Raid Positioning

Clerics: Base of ramp in front of OMM
Tank/RT/backup tank: Fighting OMM in the centre
Chanters/Chanter Support: at the wall behind OMM
Rest of Raid: Click up spot, round the corner to the left and up against the wall.

Curing Silence

Designate a beastlord to sit at the back with the chanters for all at the back to /tell with "I AM SILENCED CURE ME"

Designate a bard to do the cures at the front of the raid with same system, they /tell the bard for the silence cure.

Curing Clerics not in Rota

Set up a group with 2 mages and 2 shaman.
Mages sit with backs against wall at port up to AM spot.
This will put the clerics over 100 range away from the mages.
Shaman cure the clerics if they get doted etc, then ask the mage for CoTH to remove them from the aggro list.

Rota Cleric Cures

Set up the rota group with 5 clerics and a druid. The druid is responsible for all cures minus silence on the clerics for mask click.
This druid will end up on the agro list through curing so needs mask and needs to be not afk.

Masks and Agro List

All in raid need masks, makes the event easier to control.
Raid leader has a group of range dps people (14 people) who will put themselves on the OMM agro list on command.

It is possible for a stray person to get on agro lists, so best all are prepared for this eventuallity.

If you get a missclick, have a ranger dispell omm with the spell natures balance to remove his powerup buff.

Mask clicks > CHing the tank for clerics.

Chanter Group

Keep control of them pets, give them pet toys, haste them etc.. they are the main DPS!

Adds

with the raid positioned on the wall to the left of the zone up.
as soon as anyone gets the emote for the adds, they run to the where the raid is positioned and /say ADDS ON ME!!

shadowknights, spare tanks etc will then ae agro the adds and the raid kills them.

Warriors

Should always be 2 warriors (or 3 just in case) on omm. Soon as the tank 2 in front of you in tank line goes down, go start building agro on OMM.

THE SCRIPT!!!

The Pull

Monk goes up to OMM, agroes to get the pets to spawn and FDs.
The Ranger and the Pally in the chanter group grab these mobs one at a time, snare, debuff, charm and buff up these mobs.
Say when ready.

Start of the Script

Send in DA pally (one with DA hammer) closely followed by a warrior.. then followed by the backup warrior.
Raid leader orders his selected ranged people to agro omm.
Once these are in and agro secured, send in chanter pets.

Mask Clicks

On a mask click you need to be on your toes and reflect the gaze, else OMM goes on a rampage and starts hitting upwards of 6k very fast.

OMM reset after mask click

Once OMM starts to move back to his spawn, raid leader needs to order his selected agro list people to start throwing stuff at OMM.
Tanks need to be ready to grab agro and chanters need to keep pets in.

WARNING - RAMP is also reset and needs reset after every mask click

OMM 80%-70%

During this time, OMM will cast a random AM DT. Keep checking for this during this time and if you get it get it cured.

OMM 50%

At 50% 2 adds will spawn. So when OMM gets to 55%, necros, druids, wizzies, rangers etc need to move to the left and right of OMM and get ready to snare, root and kill these adds asap.

OMM 30%

At 30% OMM will become innactive and the Riftseekers will appear and try to control him. he wil break free and teleport whole raid to Tures room.

HOWEVER!! he does not teleport un-dragged corpses, so make sure to grab all corpses of your fallen allies while the riftseekers are playing with OMM.

Once in tures room, rez and start to fight back to the AM symbol. Hold at the gate just before it and wait.

Once all are ready, raid leader sends the tanks followed by the clerics then the raid through the symbol (clicking up to AM). And it all starts again.

If yo had an unfinished gaze emote when he comes inactive at 30% .. find out who he was gazing at and have them click up first with the tanks with the reflective skin on from mask.. else you will have a few dead tanks and clerics.

Once clicked up, raid needs to move to positions and cahnters need to get control of their pets again and send them back in on OMM.

From 30% and down, OMM is just a stay awake and keep paying attention fight. So pay attention, kill, make the place shake and loot the glory!!
