The Preformer without Mq2?

Heya, first time poster here, please move/delete/moderate as needed. Still confused by rules here but basically my question is this.

I have all mobs in demiplane known cept for preformer. I understand adds come in waves, wave bleh and bleh have a named that do shit. That i get.

But after reading the posts, they all seem to just use mq2 for the emotes.

Could someone please give me a run thorugh of the emote part of the event as im clueless about whats actually going on there.

Ingame Hotkeys are your friend. 22 of them to be exact. Copy these into your .ini file under socials, and change the pages/button numbers if needed.

The name of the button is setup with the Initial of the person who sent it to you, along with the first word of the line they sent you. The button will target them, and say the next line required. Easy enough.

All of those hotkeys have a space after the /tar name which won't target the band member. You need to remove that extra space at the end. These should be pasted in your Character_Server.ini file. It goes in towards the bottom under the [Socials] section. If you have any hotkeys on page 8 or 9 of your socials, you may lose them.

Also use audio triggers to hear when it's your turn to perform. The NPC you should sing to will say this: "#1# recites a line of his song and beckons for you to approach him and sing the next line."
where #1# is the name of the NPC you're singing to. Immediately following that line, you will get a line from that NPC's song, where you then must sing the next line as lewtz described.

I never used an MQ macro for performer but I did have the like 20-40 hotkeys or whatever and it wasn't fun but managable. I then with /notes had all the songs as they are formated so that I could reference and make sure I clicked the right key. Emotes are System Messages so I made sure I had them filtered out to a seperate window and I could see when they appeared. I had 1 audio trigger not 20-40 for each line... the trigger was the comment they give you like Beckons for your assistance or some crap like that. as the song line they give you always follows it.

Then it was just a matter of everyone payin attention, being close enough to the performer(1 of the 4 bards not the performer himself), and hitting the correct key. If you mess up you get the 10s stun/stage fright buff..... either get it right the second try or stop tryin... don't fuck it up for everyone else over and over as it only hurts you.

It takes some getting used too and frankly it is a pain in the ass but it got easier when they made it so you had more then 1 macro bar able to be seen at once so I had 1 that was 100% dedicated to Performer and the first 4 banks were for the event. Each bard had their own page and nothing else. This way I didn't have to worry about making room and it was easily visible.

Everyone in the raid has a chance to be selected to perform. You actually have a good like 20 some seconds to reply so don't feel rushed.... better to take your time(just not too much) and get it right then the fuck the event.
